In this workshop designed for beginners, participants will learn basic needle felting technique and will design and complete a felt "painting" made entirely of wool on a felt or burlap backing.

*Kelley Taft lives in Duxbury, Vermont where she is inspired by the beauty and the language of the seasons in nature and in life.  The name of her business, The Ripple Effect, comes from her desire to ignite in others sparks of joy, creativity, wonder, humor, and love.  Some of her creative pursuits include photography, crafting handmade soap, and needle felting.  For the past five years, Kelley has sold her work at the Waterbury Farmers' Market and at local arts events including the Stowe Street Arts Festival (aka Waterbury Arts Fest), Art in the Alley and the Waterbury Holiday Artisan's Boutique.
